Master Millan
Master Millan, Founder and Director of Okito America, began his journey in Cuba, where his passion for Taekwondo first took root. Before arriving in the United States in his twenties, he worked as a high school teacher, an experience that helped shape his discipline, perseverance, and strong leadership values. Upon moving to the U.S., Master Millan set out to follow his dream of sharing the art of Taekwondo and his love for teaching. Through years of hard work, dedication, and vision, Okito America was born, a place where students of all ages can grow not only as martial artists but as individuals. Today, Master Millan continues to inspire hundreds of students and instructors as a mentor and role model. Known for his positivity, humility, and passion for learning, he constantly seeks self-improvement through leadership courses such as Dale Carnegie and books like The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. His journey embodies the spirit of resilience, growth, and the belief that dreams built on discipline truly do come to life.
